My Story

For years, I built my life with my hands—working high above the ground as a house painter, playing harmonica on the side, and staying grounded in the work ethic that defined me.

Everything changed in an instant.

I was life-flighted by helicopter to the hospital after a catastrophic medical event. What followed was a brutal fight for survival: emergency surgeries to drill holes in my skull to relieve pressure on my brain, months in intensive care, and months in a nursing home. The damage to the right side of my body was severe. I woke up with a feeding tube in my stomach, mouth and tongue numbness, diminished hearing, and intentional tremors that robbed me of my fine motor skills.

Recovery wasn't measured in days; it was measured in years. I built a dedicated team—a neurologist, an eye doctor, a hand therapist, a speech therapist, and physical therapists. Step by painstaking step, we worked to rebuild my core and retrain my body just so I could walk again. Today, I navigate life with a rollator or cane, but the fire to build something meaningful never dimmed.

Stuck on the couch, unable to return to physical labor, I refused to let my story end in a recovery room. I decided to pivot.

Starting from a laptop on my couch, moving to a desk in my bedroom, and eventually building out a fully equipped, professional voiceover studio, I launched my own business. I assembled a team, including a trusted sound engineer, to ensure every project meets industry standards.

The physical scars, the tremors, and the long road back didn't break my drive—they forged it. Every line I deliver carries the resilience, clarity, and grit of someone who fought to get his voice back and built a new life from the ground up.
